Privacy policy

Which data is processed and why, how long it is kept and how it is deleted.

Data we process

This is a translation. The binding text of this policy is the Turkish version. If the two ever differ, the Turkish text prevails.

Influeer processes the personal data below in order to provide the service. The list is derived from the fields the system actually stores.

  • Account: name, email address, and an irreversible hash of your password (argon2id). The password itself is never stored.
  • Profile: profile photo, city, social media usernames, follower and engagement figures, areas of work and budget range.
  • Verification: the follower count you declare and, if you choose the screenshot method, the image you upload.
  • Communication: the message contents of chats that come out of a sent request.
  • Moderation: reports sent and received, a copy of the content at the moment of the report, the actions taken and the reasons for them.
  • Session: sign in sessions and the device and IP information attached to them. A device identifier is also collected at sign up and sign in; it is the identifier Apple issues per app vendor, it is not an advertising identifier and it does not track you across other apps.

Retention and deletion

  • Verification images are deleted 7 days after the decision. That window exists so the record can be reviewed if the decision is appealed.
  • When an account is deleted the profile and personal data are removed. The other side's chat history is kept, shown as “Deleted user”. One person deleting their account cannot destroy the other side's own record of the conversation.
  • Report records are not deleted. What evidence a moderation decision rested on is kept so that the decision can be appealed.
  • Sessions are revoked on sign out, on a password change, and when an account is suspended.

Who can read messages

Message contents cannot be read freely in the admin panel. An administrator can only see a message that is the subject of a report, through the copy of the content attached to that report record.

This is not a policy choice, it is a constraint of the system: the panel has no function that lists or reads chats.

Your rights

Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK) you have the right to access, correct and delete your data, and to object to its processing. You can delete your account from the settings inside the app. For anything else, use the contact channel below.
